PARKS AND PLAYGROUNDS

Located on the south side of Evans Head off Ocean Drive, Kalimna Park has barbeques, picnic tables and public toilet facilities. The park is well-shaded and wheelchair friendly.

The Shark Bay picnic area is equipped with barbeques, sheltered eating areas and overlooks the Evans River. Parking is ample and suitable for larger vehicles and RVs. 

Situated adjacent to the Chinamans Beach carpark, the picnic area is equipped with tables and public toilet facilities. 

The Evans Riverside Picnic area is situated next to the prime swimming location of the Evans River. Barbecue and picnic facilities are sheltered and available for public use.

The Evans Head skate park is located in Captain Cook Drive next to the northern breakwater wall. The park is fitted out with a variety of skate ramps and is suitable for children and adults of all ages.

Offering incredible views of the Evans Head coastline, the Razorback Lookout picnic area is equipped with barbecues, toilets and shaded picnic table facilities.

Stan Payne Oval playground recently opened in early 2019, featuring all-ages play equipment with shade sails and an exercise station for use free of charge.

Located next to the Evans Head boat harbour, towards the bridge, this picnic are is well-equipped with picnic tables, public toilets and barbecue facilities and an exercise station.

Located down Bundjalung Road in south Evans Head, the picnic areas are located on the right-hand side of the dirt track road, right on the Evans River. 

The recently upgraded Woodburn Riverside Park has barbeque and picnic facilities, public toilets and state of the art children's playground - all just 10 minutes from Evans Head.
