Evans Head is fortunate to have three well-equipped exercise stations that are free for public use. The first is located near the skate park and northern breakwater wall, the second is located on the southern side of the Evans bridge and the third can be found next to the children's playground at Stan Payne Oval.

The Evans Head tennis courts are located at Stan Payne Oval and are available for hire. Contact the Evans Head Tennis Club for more information.

Richmond Valley Aquatics features a 25 metre lap pool, children's water play area and gym. The pool is heated in the colder months and visitors are welcome to use the facilities.

The Evans Head Over 8's Malibu Club is a family-friendly board riding club based in Evans Head. The annual Evans Head Malibu Classic is held October long weekend.
